Torsdag 5. november arrangeres Nordic Cine Forum for alle første gang. Dette er et nytt samlingspunkt for det nordiske filmfotomiljøet og arrangeres av vår partner Camera Nordici samarbeid med FSF (Föreningen Sveriges Filmfotografer), FNF (Foreningen norske filmfotografer), FSC (Finnish Society of Cinematographers), DFF (Dansk filmfotograf forbund) og WIFT-tech (Collective of Women+ working behind the camera). Nordic Cine Forum holdes hos Chimney Pot, i Gamla stan.

PANNELS
- Bridging the gap: The DP to Colourist Pipeline
With unified ACES workflows, real-time LUT creation on set, and HDR mastering becoming standard, the collaboration between the cinematographer and the colourist starts long before post-production. Discussion focus: Creating unified look management on set, avoiding workflow hand-off friction, and protecting the director of photography’s visual intent from the set to the colour suite.
Speakers: Sean Bobbit BSC, John-Erling Holmenes Fredriksen FNF, Lisabi Fridell FSF, Florian ‘Utsi’ Martin ARRI Senior Colourist
Moderator: Jon Rudberg FSF - Modern leadership: crew well-being, management & communication in today’s sets
Technical mastery sets the scene, but leadership protects the craft. As department heads leading camera, grip, and lighting teams under tight constraints, DPs must actively cultivate strong management techniques. This panel focuses on practical communication, delegating to key crew, balancing producer expectations, and fostering a healthy, sustainable on-set culture where creative work can thrive.
Speakers: Sean Bobbit BSC, Rauno Ronkainen FSC, Anssi Leino FSC, Sophie Winqvist FSF,
Moderator: TBC - WIFT-tech presents: Big budget vs. Nordic indie: constraint, creativity & visual identity
With shrinking prep windows, tightening budgets, and shifting regional incentives across Scandinavia, cinematographers are constantly forced to adapt. The classic debate endures: Do tight local constraints push Nordic DPs toward greater artistic originality and leaner innovation, or do they act as a real barrier that squeezes time, forces compromise, and risks visual homogeneity?
Speakers: Cecilie Semec FNF, Sophie Winqvist FSF, Malin Gutke FSF, more tbc!
Moderator: TBC
