Thomas Løkkeberg FNF (Norwegian Society of Cinematographers) is a Director of Photography, based in Norway. He grew up in Oslo and started working as a camera assistant in the commercial film business in Norway 1996. In 1999-2002 he studied film and cinematography at Queensland College of Art, in Australia, simultaneously working as a freelance focus puller. He also became a member of the ACS (Australian Cinematography Society).
His experience with formats includes (S)35mm, (S)16mm, Alexa, Arri D21, RED, S12K, and a variety of other digital formats, HD and SD. He has DP`ed numerous commercials, music videos, fiction films and documentaries. Continuously developing an understanding of light, composition and other technical and creative skills needed to provoke an emotion from a screen, big or small. Frequent flyer miles with aerial cinematography, and experience with different mounts. Personal interests are windsurfing, climbing and skiing. He is currently a Board Member of FNF (Norwegian Society of Cinematographers) and involved in arranging monthly screenings for the society.
