Anders Hoft, FNF

Anders Hoft, FNF is a Norwegian cinematographer with over a decade of experience within the film industry. He studied cinematography at The National Polish Film School in Łódź, following his studies at Nordland Vocational College of Art and Film in Lofoten, Norway. As a member of The Norwegian Society of Cinematographers (FNF), Hoft’s filmography includes both feature and short form fiction films, documentaries, art films and TV. He has worked with several award winning filmmakers, including Mona J. Hoel, Sara Margrethe Oskal, Nefise Özkal Lorentzen, Dalia Al Kury, Audun Bratlie and art photographer Per Maning. Sara Margrethe Oskal’s "The Tundra Within Me" which premiered in Toronto, at TIFF 2023, is Hoft’s second feature film as Director of Photography. Other well-known work includes Mona J. Hoel’s latest feature film "Night", which premiered at PÖFF Black Nights Film Festival in Tallinn in 2022, as well as Nefise Özkal Lorentzen’s latest feature documentary "Seyran Ates: Sex, Revolution and Islam" which screened at numerous prestigious film festivals, including Hot Docs, San Francisco Film Festival and CPH:DOX. Additionally, the film was longlisted for an Oscar nomination at the 94th Academy Awards in 2022.
